Our heads are still spinning from the blur that was SXSW. Still compiling all the footage, looking for missing stuff, and wondering what exactly happened this past weekend… But we’ll say this – OUR SHOW WAS KICK ASS.

We donated one of our old laptops to our friends over at BECA, a non-profit that helps poor children in Central America through education. My friends JB and Sherr led a mission down to Honduras to set up a satellite internet network for a rural school to have access to the www for the first time ever. Good to see old technology put to good use, instead of ending up in a landfill.

Well, not exactly our house – at our party in Austin during the SXSW Music Festival in March. This is the second year that we’re producing this event for Lawyer4Musicians (some of the good guys in the music biz), and it just keeps getting bigger and better. Happy 2010! We wish you a productive year full of good friendships and fortune. Hope you had a great time – we were busy helping put together this little shindig in Korea.
We sent the legendary producer and DJ extraordinaire, PETE ROCK, to Korea for an exclusive DJ set at the annual Milk Festival NYE bash at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel to help Seoul’s party people kick off the New Year in style. Expect a lot more great shows lined up this year from yours truly!

So I get in 2 nights ago at 4:20am (seriously) to learn that Afrika Bambaata is in town spinning at a new club in Seoul called Heaven. Went and checked it out … so crazy to see the likes of Bambaata in Korea, but he played a decent set (think late 90’s acid house mixed in w some commercial radio jams) – and we got to chill w/ Zulu Nation after his set.
